Please respond to the following questions:

a. What characteristics did Ms. Elliott indicate were ‘true’ of the superior group? Describe the characteristics of the inferior group.

b. Do those negative characteristics reflect stereotypes about minority groups today?

c. Watch the children’s body language. How did they react to being labeled? What about when they were re-labeled?

d. Select one of the now-adult class members and discuss their reaction to lessons learned during this activity.
