Branch Logic/Skip Logic – interactive flow chart
I put together a matrix (0 = not capable, 1= capable) of data analytics tools. The idea is to ask a series of questions that will guide one to select the correct BI tool. So basically as the associate selects an answer (it takes into account the matrix) and eliminates tools that doesn’t have the capability and after the final question it spits out the tool (s) based on the inputs.
1. What is the frequency of your reporting?
2. What type of analysis are you wanting to complete?
3. Level of Visual Sophistication?
4. What is your level of experience in using BI tools?
5. Describe the type of data processing capability that you need?
The idea is to have an interactive flow chart if you will, either in PPT or Excel or any other platform for that matter that is easy and user friendly but that takes the matrix into account.
