1. Significance of the insect clearly stated with relevance to the student’s field of study or interest. For full credit the student must determine why the insect is significant culturally, economically, medically, and/or agriculturally, etc. and should explain their interest in the insect (10)

1. Information correctly stated including spelling, biology, insect names and classification For full credit students must ensure correct spelling and accuracy in biology and classification (10)

Organization:

1. Logical order, minimum redundancy, smooth transition between sections. For full credit, all information should be relevant to the insect of study and slides should move from introduction to expand to broader subjects. Final slide should be works cited

Slides:

1.  Legible font size, color contrast, no conflicting backgrounds, text with no grammatical errors, not excessively wordy For full credit, students should make good use of photos that display the insect with not too much text

Delivery:

1. Clear audible speech, minimal script usage, good interaction with zoom audience and enthusiastic delivery. Students presented information clearly. For full credit, students must have clear audible features, interaction with audience (camera is not required but it helps with engagement)

1. Delivery: Effective use of time. For full credit, students should aim to present their talk for 5 minutes and full credit is awarded for between 4 and 6 min.

1. Overall quality of the presentation. For full credit, students should give a presentation with passion, enthusiasm and show an appreciation of the insect
